Young at Heart

Hosted by senior citizens, this program takes a lighthearted look at seniors who are living their retirement years productively and enjoyably, sometimes despite physical limitations. Given time to pursue their pleasures, seniors focus on rose gardening, fashions, and aerobics for older persons, which can help to slow down the aging process. Highlighted are seniors who volunteer their time to work in school settings and provide the children with strong and loving role models. Also featured in this production are seniors who share their fears regarding crime. However, Mae is one senior who is confident in her ability to protect herself, and she shares the steps she has taken to accomplish this. Another area of major concern for seniors, also examined in this production, is the protection of financial assets from primary caregivers.
