All About Eve
An outstanding drama about a young woman's relentless quest for success.
Anne Baxter portrays Eve Harrington in a stunning performance. A starstuck
'kid' who's the picture of innocent unpretention, she haunts the theater
where her idol, Margo Channing (Bette Davis), is appearing. When they
finally meet, Eve's naivete, adoration and passion for the stage quickly
endear her to Margo, earning her a place in the star's inner circle.
But Eve has a hidden agenda. Totally ruthless, she manipulates those
around her as she seeks bigger and better things. Also stars George
Sanders, Celeste Holms, Gary Merrill and Marilyn Monroe. Also written
by Joseph L. Mankiewicz
Selected for the Library of Congress National Film Registry of American
Film.
