Dr. Strangelove - 40th

A crazed commander (Sterling Hayden)
launches an unauthorized, quick nuclear attack on Russia. Despite their
best efforts, the President (Peter Sellers), a brilliant scientist Dr.
Strangelove (Peter Sellers) and a British officer Captain Mandrake (Peter
Sellers) can not reverse this "act of war". George C. Scott
plays a bloodthirsty Joint Chief of Staff "Buck" Turgidson and
Slim Pickens stars as a gun ho bomber pilot delivering the neclear strike
to the U.S.S.R. This movie is both a brilliant satire and snapshot of
the Cold War.
