Raging Bull - Special Edition 2 Disc Set

Shooting in a crisp black and white, Scorsese tells the story of middleweight boxer Jake La Motta, played by Oscar winner Robert De Niro. As La Motta rises through the ranks to earn his first shot at the middleweight crown, he falls in love with Vickie (Cathy Moriarty), a girl from his Bronx neighborhood. Irrational jealousy consumes Jake as the movie reveals the rise and fall of this boxer. Robert De Niro delivers one of the screen's most unforgettable performances. Cinematographer Michael Chapman created boxing scenes with intense energy which also reflect Jake's endless arguments outside the ring. Raging Bull is consider by many to be one of American cinema's masterworks. Also stars Joe Pesci.

Selected for the Library of Congress' National Film Registry of American Film.
