Scarface - Platinum Edition 2 Disc Set

"Scarface is an example of Brian De Palma in overdrive mode. Like Tony Montana, he isn't interested in small gestures and subtle emotions. His best films are expansive, passionate, stylized and cheerfully excessive, and yet he has never caved in to the demand for routine action thrillers" --- Roger Ebert.

Al Pacino is Tony Montana, the Cuban immigrant who rises to the top of Miami's drug world, in Brian De Palma's update of Howard Hawks' s 1932 film. A film noted for its excessive violence and its very quotable script authored by Oliver Stone. Also stars Robert Loggia and Michelle Pfeiffer.
