The Big Heat

A great film noir from director Fritz Lang, The Big Heat stars Glenn Ford as a no-nonsense cop investigating the suicide of another cop. His findings reveal that the cop's suicide note cited widespread corruption under the guidance of ruthless mob boss Alexander Scourby. Danger and murder follow Ford as he delves deeper into the case. Gloria Grahame and Lee Marvin also star.
