Absolutely Positive

After he tested positive for HIV, the director of this film, Peter Adair, began these portraits of eleven people who had AIDS or HIV. Those interviewed range through various ages, races and socio-economic backgrounds. Eleven people, from ages 17 to 55, tell their stories: hearing the test results, breaking the news to family, friends and partners, battling feelings of guilt and prejudice, and coping with a heightened sense of mortality.
