A Day At A Time

Although they are both in wheelchairs, Albe and Anastasia cannot be kept from an active life of school, summer camp or church, and as we see in this unforgettable video directed by William Garcia and narrated by Kathleen Turner, these young girls and their family inspire everyone concerned with the challenges of family life and the place of disabled children in our society. Even President Clinton was touched by these two and their plea for equal access. The filmmakers capture daily struggles as well as the joys of birthdays and the twins first Holy Communion.
