Jupiter's Wife

This drama-cum-documentary introduces us to a mysterious and alluring woman called Maggie, a homeless woman who believes she can communicate with the gods through her Walkman and claims to be the daughter of a famous Hollywood actor, as well as the wife of the Roman god, Jupiter. Filmed in and around Central Park in NYC over a two year period, director Michel Negroponte follows Maggie as she wanders the park with her "family" of stray dogs and we learn of her earlier notoriety as the first female hansom carriage driver in Central Park and the two children she lost due to her mental illness.
