Near Death

This cinema verite takes place in the Intensive Care Unit of Beth Israel Hospital near Boston. The film focuses on the care of the terminally ill and the complex relationships between patients, medical personnel, clerical and religious people who all walk through the valleys of near death. Four terminally ill patients are the main focus of this epic work. Directed by Fredrick Wiseman.
