Silverlake Life:
The View from Here

When filmmaker Tom Joslin discovered he and his lover of 22 years, Mark Lassi, were both infected with the HIV virus, he decided to record their battles and triumphs on video. This remarkable piece set in the Silverlake area of L.A. follows the two men through their daily lives as the disease slowly progresses and captures the affect their illnesses have on friends and family. Upon their deaths, friend and fellow filmmaker, Peter Friedman completes their story as a testimony to Tom and Mark's enduring bond.
