The Spiral Cage

Al Davis is a talented comic book artist who took his own story of overcoming the disability of Spina Bifida and turned it into a unique comic book autobiography. Al's parents were told he would never walk, and his early years were marked by long hospitalizations. Being different from his classmates made him the object of hostility. However, he persevered until he learned to walk. He also learned martial arts and expressed himself in comic art. Importantly, he met a woman who helped him accept his body, and with whom he could share his life.
