This is a profile of a public affairs advisor, Hugh Gallagher who was paralyzed by polio at the age of 19. He significantly aided the passage of the Architectural Barriers Act of 1968. The biographical film follows Mr. Gallagher as he works on his book about Franklin Deleno Roosevelt: FDR's Splendid Deception., which details the efforts to conceal Roosevelt's disability. Directed by Ray Schmitt.
